PRESS RELEASE - JLowe Racing Announces Partnership with Porsche of the Main Line; Debut set for August 31 in Millville
August 31, 2008

Philadelphia, Penn.?As partnerships go, it would seem that Jim Lowe and Bob DiStanislao may be as natural a fit as Lewis and Clark?and they might be just as adventurous. Lowe, the Philadelphia-based neurosurgeon who has a second career on the race track has announced that his JLowe Racing team is partnering with ?The Largest Porsche dealer in the greater Philadelphia region,? Porsche of the Main dealership and Bob DiStanislao, Dealer Principal and General Manager.

The partnership will debut August 31 when Lowe?s team races in the first Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Lowe shares, ?Obviously, the affiliation was a natural fit because Porsche of the Main Line services and sells the same cars we drive,? Lowe says. ?We were looking for a partner that understands our needs as a race team and we understand their needs as a dealership.?

He continues, ?Porsche is an established racing car, so Porsche of the Main Line has a racing pedigree and that carries a lot of clout. They understand the car, the performance and the advantage of this car over any other.? Lowe adds, ?Being able to have a good relationship with a manufacturer is very crucial. And, to work with these guys gives us an inside lane (pun intended). We?ve got the pole position when we work with the manufacturer as our partner.?

DiStanislao also offers high praise. ?When I was approached about the partnership, I knew it had to be with someone inscrutable and beyond reproach. As a dealership, we can only partner with someone in that category. We have to protect the Porsche brand. We have to be very discerning.? DiStanislao adds, ?Porsche of the Main Line with JLowe Racing is a very good fit. It?s going to work well.?

Perhaps another common link between the two men is how the love of racing seems to be in their DNA. Lowe is a neurosurgeon with a thriving practice, and DiStanislao is a well-respected and successful Porsche dealer who himself is just a few hours away from getting his own F1 Racing license.

Lowe says that people who buy Porsches are racers at heart even if they?re not in reality. DiStanislao says there is an old adage for those in the car business: ?The first race came about when the second car was produced.?

The two are ready for competition and are more than a little enthused about racing in Millville. For the JLowe team, Johannes VanOverbeek and Tim Sugden will be in car #64 while Jim Pace and Lowe will drive #63. The event is a sprint race lasting two hours and 45 minutes. "We?re ready for Millville," Lowe says. "We're looking forward to the debut of this great partnership, and seeing the Porsche of the Main Line GT3 Cup cars on the podium at the end of the race.?

DiStanislao says he is ready as well?and ready to win. ?We will be a very happy sponsor as we beat the Paul Miller Race Team,? he says good-naturedly. ?Those at Paul Miller Porsche in New Jersey are our dear friends and colleagues. They?re great, great people and we?re going to be reveling in the fact that as a dealership only in operation since November 2007, we?ll be giving that two-generation Porsche team a run for their money.?
